SHAKEN but UNMOVABLE!

In the name of complete transparency...this month has been one of the hardest, most challenging seasons I have ever experienced. As I encourage and pray for you, I am also asking for your prayers during my own journey. Over the last few weeks, I have been experiencing a lot of pain in my side, so I took a trip to the ER. After many hours and a few tests, it was discovered that I had a small lesion on my liver. I can't fully describe how I felt in that moment, but I am not going to lie, I felt fear for a moment! I immediately made an appointment with my primary care physician and, of course, he referred me to a specialist. I am scheduled to undergo a colonoscopy and endoscopy after Thanksgiving. So as I wait, I am trusting and choosing to be anchored in the promises of God's plan for my life. It is so easy for us to hear bad news and naturally gravitate towards partnering with fear so I am choosing to continue on in faith that I will regain my health. I'm still going to laugh, I am still going to travel and live out my dreams & I am still going to pray! I am both reminded and anchored by one of my favorite scriptures
Jeremiah 29: 11 says For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. So let this be your own reminder that as life is happening around us, we must not neglect our self-care routine and must ALWAYS listen to our bodies!
"She stood in the storm and when the wind did not blow her way, she adjusted her sails!" What are you going to do when the storm shows up in your life with your children, your marriage, your health, your relationships, etc? What will your response be, dear friend? I choose to pray, believe and to keep MOVING!
So as I pray for you, I ask that you say a tiny prayer for me that reaches the ears of Jesus!
My faith, My family, and My Tribe are very important me I want to get to know you and I want you to know me, so let's do this together.
